The room's check-in process had a touch of magic. A digital code replaced the traditional key, ensuring I'd never again fret about misplacing it. The corridor-side camera enabled me to see who was at the door on my screen—a thoughtful feature. However, the most astonishing revelation awaited me as I pushed the door open. A refreshing breeze and a pleasant, slightly sweet vanilla scent enveloped me, instantly making me feel at home. The flat was equipped with a filtering air conditioning system. Truly incredible! The interior was so exquisitely adorned that I hardly knew where to begin. Every corner of this flat was meticulously planned and executed to perfection. A gray wall extended from the entrance to the balcony and beyond. Adorning this wall were a captivating collection of art pieces, art books on a bookshelf, a 4K TV stand with an elegant gold lamp and mirror wall decorations. Simple, yet incredibly elegant. Then, a queen-size bed framed by two curtains. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed the curtain, the cushion, and the bed were all in the same fabric because my attention was captivated by the ocean view. The great mirror of bedroom expanded the view of the ocean. Thanks to this design, I witnessed my first double sunset, with the sun sinking into the ocean on both sides of the horizon simultaneously. After, the sky continued to change colors for nearly an hour after the sunset, displaying shades of pink, orange, yellow, gold, purple, and various blues until it was pitch black. I had never witnessed such a colorful and awe-inspiring sunset before. After a great night, I pressed a button on the remote control to open the curtains right from my bed. The gentle light streamed into the room from the base of the window, gradually illuminating the space. The captivating ocean view with the neighboring island unfolded before my sleepy eyes. In conclusion, I implore you to book it without hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

The apartment is very modern, clean, has lots of natural light, has good pressure in the shower, strong wifi connection with personal router in the room, big TV with Netflix, a great view, and is very comfortable and safe. It’s handy having a washing machine and also a kitchenette here with a large fridge too. There is still some construction happening in the building however we haven’t found it to be an issue. The location is quite central too and walking distance to a few malls as well as restaurants and bars. There are also many options to have food delivered to the building using Grab. The host, CK, has gone above and beyond for us during our stay here. From picking us up at the airport, to sending through tons of recommendations, answering messages almost instantly, as well as stocking the fridge with water and Coca Cola, we cannot speak more highly of him. He has been absolutely wonderful and would definitely recommend this room to anyone coming to KK. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended twice!

Super nice sunset view. All the facilities are new and clean. The room is well equipped with cooking facilities, microwave, fridge, smart TV, even a smart washing machine. Besides, the onwer is super friendly and helpful, really appreciate his recommendations and guidance throughout the vacation. I would definitely recommend my friends to stay here in the future.

The location was perfect - it was a stone’s throw away from the local night market where you can eat eat fresh seafood, even buy vegetables and fruits - they are open until the early hours of the morning. It’s also very near KK waterfront for a more bar/live music kind of night life, very near jesselton jetty where you take ferries to the other islands, as well as a few other malls and notable restaurants like welcome seafood. The unit itself had a nice balcony facing the sea and the market below. It was clean, had a TV, had cooking facilities, had a large refrigerator, a couch, a cabinet, etc. the provided slippers was very useful. There is a bidet. If you want to cook though, bring your oil and condiments etc. though there are pots, pan, plates and utensils to use. The host, CK was also very nice. He was waiting at the driveway when we arrived, sent recommendations of places around the area to try, was very responsive about questions on Whatsapp, and also allowed us to leave our luggage to pick up at a later time after we checked out. Overall, this place is a good option if you don't want to spend too much on the very high end hotels, because the alternatives seem like very old rundown hotels.

Mr CK is the best host I have ever met in my years of travelling. He was very accommodating despite me arriving at 1am due to constant flight delay. The room was clean, tidy, and very pleasant. It is equipped with all the amenities required for short term stay - washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, cutlery, spices, tea, and fridge just to name a few. The fridge even came well stocked with myriad welcome drinks to choose from. The ocean view was a bonus. Toilet is squeaky clean for OCD like me. The digital security lock provided us with a peace of mind while keeping seamless access. Parking was aplenty. Not to mention that it is situated in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. I could walk to all nearby popular eateries, bars, and market. Mr CK even provided me with a list of local delicacies to explore. Overall, I had an excellent stay. Highly recommended.
